The UK Observer is a decent enough paper - most Sunday papers in the UK have far too many sections and the problem with almost all British newspapers is simple the more pages they print to fill with the maximum profit making advertising - the more "news" needs to be found o fill the expanded pages. The news then gets watered down to a point where most of it is not worth recording. However, the Observer is perhaps the best of a shoddy bunch...not sure of all the monthly magazine extensions - women, fashion, food, etc.

Generally the best 'serious' Sunday newspaper but can be a bit too gossipy occasionally.
