The men have to make all the coffee and tea. He brews.

In addition to our being one of the first the monotheistic religions (although not the first; check out Atenahken or Zoroaster), I think it was one the first to have specific proscribed dietary laws. There is also the belief about being God's chosen people (although no where does it specify exactly what we were chosen for; as one answerer said, we might have been chosen to endure the most suffering.)

Judaism not only (probably) the oldest monotheistic religion, but it is one of the oldest know religions of all categories. It is based on knowledge and traditions. When it originated, it was unique in that it had no one major authority figure. Instead it had many priests (rabbis) who would lead the local Jewish community.

The Jewish religion is a tradition that is passed on from father to son. Begining at the time that Moses read the Bible from G-d on Mount Sinia. The Jews saw something concrete. G-d revealed himself to them. And this is what was passed from generation to generation to this day! My son beleive in Hashem the one and only G-d because my father told me... and his father told him... up to the father who saw G-d on that historical day and heard the 10 commandments from Moses!
Only the beleif in something tangible and existing can endure the trials and tribulations of time.
