Actually guys, I work at Best Buy in Madison, and I'm not able to say really how many we're getting, but we're getting OVER 150, so we expect to be fine throughout the whole day on the 19th. I'd say get to big retail stores early, and go from there. Also, who said the next time they're shipping is mid-december? We are expecting another HUGE shipment at best buy just 2 weeks after the original. So hope that clears things up for you a little!

I seriously doubt it will be as bad as the Xbox 360 release. There was WAY too much presumption on Microsoft's part, and as a result it took until March for 360s to regularly appear on shelves. Unlike Microsoft, Nintendo is actually aware of what the customer wants, and wants to be prepared for the high demand. I was told by an EB associate that you could probably get one as early as a week after the release.

Nintendo has reported that they will be shipping more than three times as many of these systems to local walmarts as PS3. I am planning on heading to Walmart at about 10pm the night before, walmart is expecting around 50 units per store, and I highly doubt that 50 people will go to the midnight release.

You have a better chance of finding it in a retail store than you would've had pre-ordering it. The pre-sale sold out faster than I can say "two points".

they are tremendously stressful to locate in shops good now, so previously heading out i could call some shops and ask in the event that they have any in inventory. in the event that they don't, then they might desire to be waiting to help you comprehend whilst they are watching for a truck, after which you will go at that element. in case you call a keep like aim or Wal-Mart, ask to talk to the electronics dept in any different case the guy answering the telephone probably won't comprehend.

Your best bet is to be at Wal-Mart at 12:01 on 11/19.......get there early and be prepared to "camp out".
You may get one. Other than that...you most likely don't have a chance......unless you're willing to pay two to three times retail on ebay.

I think your best shot would be trying to find one on something like ebay. It will be VERY tough just finding one there let alone in a store. But I warn you, on ebay they may be higher then retail price. Good luck in your search!
