No I am not talking about getting "banged" on the floor by your lover. LOL I am asking, when was the last time someone said something that really made you stop and listen to what they had to say and that you listened to every word, meaning, etc..?

What was it about that person or what they said that made you stop and listen?

Just like to say these are some of the best questions I have answered in a while...

This one is causing me to think a lil bit as opposed to my random writing of whatever comes off the top of my head.

The last time I was absolutely "floored" by someone's character and just being, was someone that I knew in Germany. We just had a really great level of understanding for one and another and just talking to him expanded upon my own views as well as left me in awe as he opened me up to new ways of thinking as well.

The last time I was absolutely "floored" by what someone said is really difficult and perhaps I would have to say this question serves pretty well as my example. I mean I am usually so wrapped up in talking that I don't think I take enough time to listen...so perhaps I should shut my mouth for once and open my ears...lol...

It wasn't a person, but the movie American History X.

It's the scene when Derek is in the hospital and Sweeney comes to visit him. Derek is experiencing a life changing experience and is questioning his allegiance to white supremecy and Sweeney comes to visit him. It was when Sweeney asks, "Has any of this made you happy?"

I ask myself that sometimes because if it is not making me happy, it if it not getting me where I want to be and happy at the same time, is it something I want to be involved in?

Last week. A friend listened to everything I had to say and was able to relate it back to me when talking to me. It doesn't happen very often in my world so it made my week.

It's a mix of how they say it and what they say. For me, it was a co-worker who said something very sweet and completely surprised me because he usually keeps to himself. I think my mouth dropped to the floor!

A man named REX, a friend of mine.

"If your life is easy, then you are not worthy."

I agree, NO ONE survives an easy life. It is what makes it hard that makes you live and claim your worth.

No one reaches the ceiling, unless they've stepped on the floor.
