Darling, it is already your copyright since you wrote it. The thing you need to be able to do is prove that you wrote it FIRST. The easiest way is to post a dated and signed copy of the work to yourself. Don't open it, just file it away safely until needed. If you really want to write, try submitting what you have to an agent. See Writers and Artists Yearbook or similar publication. Good luck.

If you feel good about it, go ahead and send it in. There's no reason not to. The worst that is likely to happen is they won't like it. You probably will never hear from them again. Just be prepared for the fact that there is a slim chance they will take your idea and not credit you for it.

Be sure to copyright first.

Try to find someone who knows someone at the bbc who can help.

Generally speaking, no one accepts unsolicited scripts.

You'll never know if you get it or not if you don't send it in.
Take some risks & chances!

What if you didn't send it in and if you were to send it in, they would have liked it?
It's totally worth a shot!

If you think it is good enough, go for it. If you don't you will never know and may always be wondering.

Should I try for X Factor next year...

mmm... might I tactfully suggest that scripts need to be literate - so how about writing proper English on this site as a start?
