I personally have thought for a very long time their was nothing as painful. Then I required surgery on my shoulder for a torn rotator cuff, the physical therapy was so painful. I told the therapist I would rather give natural childbirth to all four of my sons in one day. I think the big difference is with child birth you get an instant gratification and with my physical therapy it was 5 months long 3 times a week. Just my experience. God bless*

I have had two kids, It wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. Maybe a little mind over matter. Great reward. But, migraines are pretty bad, and toothaches are wayyyy up there in the pain dept. So, no I don't really think that childbirth is the worst.

No childbirth is not the most painful thing a human can go through try going through labour and your baby being still born .you can forget the pain of labour but the pain from a stillbirth is with you 24/7 365.

Personally, I did not find childbirth as bad as I anticipated. Of course, after a day and a half of trying to go at it naturally, I opted for an epidural, and then it was a whole new ballgame!
Can't speak for everyone, but I have gone through two procedures that were worse than the birthing process.....waking up halfway through a colonoscopy and having to get my vocal chords checked...they took a teeny-tiny camera up my nose and down my throat....THAT was brutal....

I recall one mother I know liken it to sitting on the Tower of Blackpool and swivelling! However, once, she sees her baby, its forgotten!
Another, said its like passing a MELON through a plug hole, of course its painful, but the body adapts to accommodate this, and its called labour because its darned hard work, fear also magnifies the pain in a lot of cases, so I am told!
BUT the pain of GRIEF is incomparable to anything on this planet I am sure.
Personally, it made my eyes water a bit, and yes I forgot it all once the baby and I met for the first time, I have not know pain worse then childbirth, but then again, I am GLAD of that, I would not want to,

Childbirth is extremely painful, but as others have stated, it is over and the pain forgotten relatively soon. ( i have 3 children)
There are much worse things. Cancer, broken bones. Sometimes migraines seem more painful to me. (i have not had cancer or broken bones, so I am only guessing at these but have seen people suffering from those conditions)

I think labor and kidney stones are about the same pain-wise. Breaking a rib is pretty much up there too. Those are fairly routine things though. I'm sure that there are non-routine things that are more painful - like amputating a limb without anesthesia or (gross, I know) the pulling off of a body part by machinery - or crushing a body part by having it caught in machinery. Compared to something like that, childbirth is easy! (Yes, I've had three babies and a kidney stone).

child birth can be painful.I with the help of an epidural had a brilliant expierance giving birth with minimal pain, i had a duodenal ulcer that burst last year and the pain was horrific something i will never forget and the worst pain i have ever felt, i don`t think child birth is the most painful thing humans can go through

It's not even close.
In terms of affected nerve endings, there isn't anything anywhere near as bad as having burns over a large percentage of your body.
One of my girlfriends was a nurse and she worked the burn ward at a big, state-supported urban hospital a lot. Picked her up there once. The horrible noises coming from the people in there - and the smell - was enough to convince me that there was no survivable human condition that could be worse.
She told me that a good many of them, even when they are out of the woods infection-wise (infections are what kill most burn victims) would sour and die for no apparent reason. She said it was because they just couldn't handle the pain anymore and lost the will to live. I don't know if that's true, but it makes sense.
