which is the best place for a honeymoon in Europe? Maybe Prague, budapest,tallin or St Petersburg?

I´m planning to go maybe August or October, depends on the wedding. I dont want to go to a beach destination.

In August-September I would definitely choose St Petersburg. It is the most beautiful city in Europe. Very reasonably priced too, if you eat, drink and shop outside Nevski area. Tallinn is a bit cheaper to travel to and also very affordable outside the old town.

In October I would go for Prague or Budapest (still summer), because of the weather. Wold rank Prague No 2 of these overall. It is maybe the cheapest of the three if you combine accommodation and the travel cost and always a good choice.
If budget minded get a hotel and eat your main meals outsine Prague 1 or hire a private apartment for accommodation (works fine). Other European cities for consideration are: Barcelona and Porto.

Definitely not Tallinn. I lived there for six months and it's so boring. There's really very little to do. I haven't been to Prague so I can't really say but it's very touristy.

I would choose Petersburg. It's the most beautiful city I've ever been to. August would be much nicer than October.

None of those! Lake Garda in northern Italy. You can do all the shopping you want in Milan, play Romeo and Juliet in Verona, get the gondola and ice-cream in Venice, and when you're staying lakeside the scenery will be perfect. Italy's not expensive, the food and drink are of course excellent, there's trips out galore (if you ever leave the hotel room that is!), and with several cities just an hour or 2 away you're bound to get cheap flights there too.

So now the world knows my honeymoon plans...
