are they being serious or is it a joke. It seems to staged and is it an attempt at humour.

I would say a little of both since they are trying to do a demonstration, but it also looked like it was planned to be humorous as well. Hope I helped!

It's for real. It is staged and choreographed, but it's no joke. They are giving a demonstration to show what is possible in self defense. They've added humor, chatter, & other theatrics to try and make it more interesting for their viewers.

Looks like an excellent self defense demonstration. The punches and kicks are all 'pulled'. I have a degree in martial arts - very well done!

Obviously staged to demonstrate martial arts to a group of children...probably to get them to sign up for a class
