I'm not talking about the elected Republican officials, I'm talking about ordinary citizens that identify themselves as Republican.

There is alot of hatred and most stems from the Gore/Bush campaign. They made a premature call of the election and tried to discredit our military votes by taking it to court to have them thrown out of the count because they were a few days late coming in from overseas.Instead of debating an issue its easier for them to name call.Ie,they called our president Hitler, called conservatives Nazi's and call our troops terrorists..,thank you howard dean, yet they wonder why President Bush doesnt want to work with them?It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

I am a Republican and proud of it. I do not feel that most Democrats hate Republicans. Educated people do not hate people who do not think the same as themselves. I believe that most republicans and democrats want the same thing. We want to help those less fortunate than outselves, make sure all children have access to medical care and that all old people have a secure "golden years". We only disagree on the method to use. I am conserative and donot believe in handouts, I believe in handups. There is a small % of our population that believes that believes that all working people should support them without ??. This small group calls themselves Democrats; however, they would call themselves Purple Polka Dot for a free handout. I believe that we should insist that anyone on the public welfare system young enough and healthy enough to work should either have a job or be in school

Democrats hatred for Republicans? Do yo listen to the conservative-biased media??? Fox "News" spews forth more hatred and bigotry than the Klu Klux Klan!
Rush Limbaugh is nothing more than a Nazi-inspired propagandist for the Republican Party!!
Limbaugh's ditto heads will eventually be brainwashed into believing that it's 'acceptable' to criticize, abuse, torture, or even kill anyone who doesn't subscribe to the conservative agenda. That means anyone Limbaugh hates will be targeted for 'extermination' as part of a conservative 'final solution'. Those might very well include: homosexuals, street-corner drug addicts; liberals; non-whites; non-Christians; poor people; the sick, the homeless, the hungry, and the aged; welfare recipients; and working Americans making minimum wage.
Anyone Limbaugh favors, however, would be part of the new "pure" race or culture, including: pedophiles; prescription-drug abusers; white collar criminals; corporate welfare recipients; white Christians; millionaires; war mongers; war profiteers; and wife beaters.
It's a damn shame that Republicans hate Democrats and Democrats hate Republicans. Republicans just seem to be better organized! -RKO-

have you listened to conservative talk radio? these guys spew out hate more often than they pray. The hatred has been deeply entrenched into their listeners. This site reflects that. Look at the questions and answers. There are a number of so called liberals that aren't too polite in what they say, but if you keep tabs, you will find that the questions and answers that contain the most "hate" come from the Republican side.

I don't hate Republicans, but at this time I tend to disagree with their political stand. As an Independent moderate, I have voted both sides over the years. I voted for GW in 2000 (yes, I'll admit it lol), but I didn't in 2004. I voted Democratic this time around because I believe that checks and balances for GW are way overdue. As far as ordinary citizens, I respond strongly to those extreme right wingers who accuse all Democrats of being liberal and soft on terrorism, I think they are full of b.s. I also don't appreciate far left wingers who think everyone is out to get them, and that call Republicans "Hitler" for example. I truly believe that most citizens are moderate and that we see an elevated number of extremists in YA because extremists love to shout from the rooftops, and that includes extremists from both parties.

I don't know about anyone else, but I strive to treat everyone with respect, no matter their political affiliation.

I have friends and family who vote Democrat. I have friends and family who vote Republican. We have some, ah, "lively" conversation at times, but we do not hate each other.

But that's just my little corner of the universe.

Repukes are part of the problem and not the solution. They want to shred the Constitution that they CLAIM to honor. They use a flag as a metaphor NOT for the former, but their OWN sleazy political agenda. And they don't care about HONEST elections if they win.

Is it hatred?
Maybe towards the lets go back to the America of the 1940's pre-civil rights, white America, why tax the rich people, screw the lazy poor, republicans who used to be called Dixiecrates. But for the masses of uninformed republicans I feel pity.

I don't have any hatred for republicans, for the most part. I have absolutely no use for people who call themselves republicans who call liberals and or democrats supporters of terrorism, unamerican, idiots, communists, you get the idea.
