some people get it, i see. i don't know what i mean. it just seems like he's become a major pr*ck (if he wasn't always) and just needs to never speak again.

He has pretty much kept his mouth shut about other people during his career. He is going on 60 and can pretty much say what is on his mind! Think about some of the things he has said that pisses people and is he really off the mark that much?
He is a person who has given and when he says some "off-color" comment, people get miffed.
How many 60 year old performers play 4 hour shows? Heck, even bands with 20 year old members perform for 60 to 90 minutes and are done!

I completely understand what you are saying... but yes he thinks he can say whatever he wants because he is Elton John and because of the first amendment. And honestly religion is what a person make of it, so banning it wouldn't make people feelings and thoughts on homosexuality go away, religion doesn't make a person or completel them, so banning it is so insignificant, but i feel you, sometimes he need to just keep quiet...

Well, he IS right. Religion does teach that homosexuality is wrong, even evil.
The Roman Catholic Church is the bloodiest religion in the history of the world. Anyone who doesn't believe that has their head in the sand.
I am a Christian, but the RCC does not represent me, and the Pope says NOTHING that I agree with. It is not the oldest Christian church, and it gives a black eye to every believer who must overcome their doctrines in the real world. Much like the terrorists have sullied Islam...

yep he's special, so what, he does make good music, and sang great music. Hes a regular guy he just has some bad issues.
