its a good looking site!
i was in the same boat as you a few weeks back. i was so annoyed at the cost of advertising i decided to run my own classifieds website. the address is http://onequidadverts.com and is for both usa and uk users registration is free but advertising is a hell of a lot cheaper than most popular sites.
mines a fairly new site but has been submitted to google and such like and my site traffic is moving at a steady pace so far.
its worth a look and im submitting to more and more sites everyday so 100's of people a day will see your classified ads too.
there is an internet section you can advertise in for just $2 ( which is about £1.20 odd) for 7 days there are other price plans too.

If you wish to market it on a low funds cross with advert networks. If you decide upon and decide upon a couple of significant internet sites and touch them straight you are going to pay an arm & a leg. But if you happen to cross via an advert community (can rep 20 to twenty,000+ websites) the price is low and the publicity is top. They generally have classes like teenagers, mothers, information, tech, and many others and they will optimize for the duration of the crusade for you, canceling websites that do not participate in good and bulking up on websites that do. Do a few study on a couple of like 24/7 Real Networks, AdBrite, Collective Media, Burst Network, and many others. There's a ton in the market.

You are advertising your website here!
