a month ago, i had unprotected sex with my exboyfriend and he pulled out. But this months past period was about 5 days early and light. I was thinking it was spotting but i took a test 3 days after i started and than one again, a week later and both of them came out negative. for the past week i have had quite a bit of cramping and bloating and my breasts seam to be swollen and just today i took another test and once again it came out negative. Im kindof freaking out cause im unsure and i cant go to the doctor quite yet....... and i dont know whether to go back to my normal way of living, cause i drink and smoke. or if i should completley quite just incase

Yes! I even had an ultrasound come back negative but I knew I was pregnant. A few weeks later, it was confirmed and the dates matched up with what I thought! Sometimes you just know so early. But after the baby is a few weeks old, you should get positive results I think. I just knew so early that the hormone levels were too low.

you can have negatives. You should hold off the party stuff untill you know for sure. It is better to be safe than sorry. See a doc as soon as possible, and take a test in another week if you wont see the doc by then, i suggest the digital clear blue test for this case.

Good luck!

Go to the doc, and see. Sometimes stress and emotions throw off ur cycle. The home tests are pretty good. Some people need a blood test b/c the urine doesnt show the preg hormone. Sometimes it is too early as well. relax and see a doc.

It is probably not very likly that you are pregnant because the test work off of HCg's (pregnancy hormone) you have to be pregnant to have this show up in a UT test. I would make an appointment at Planned Parenhood or your doctor for a blood test just to make sure.

Home pregnancy tests are more accurate than the doctors. If the tests are saying you're not pregnant, chances are, you're not.

If you're still unsure, get to the doctors anyways just for peace of mind.

yeah. i guess. but the odds are not good that's the case. home pregnancy tests are like 99% accurate. although, it is more likely to get a false neg. than false pos. (which is about impossible) go to the doc. you should quit drinking and smoking anyway.
