Love is blind, deaf and dumb to reason... so, no way can corrective surgery apply, I'm an expert on it, trust me... every body is a sufferer and everybody is scarred, even vaccination of endless relationships across a lifetime never dents the surface of infection... sigh... love is wonderfully ignorant in its beginnings, and marvellously cynical in hindsight... but is it ever fully sighted... nope, the haze of hope will always cloud our judgement.
Savour the memories of beginnings and temper the thoughts of painful endings... who knows, there could be a best seller in there one day ;-)

For sure love is blind, and i really think we all need more than corrective eye surgery, to fix the problem...........you use to get glimpses of what i am blinded from all the time, but still didn't register, until a month ago.....and now i am on my own. .I love it, took awhile, and still have heaps of those moments, and go to pick up the phone to call, but don't as my rose coloured glasses have cleared and i am trying to be strong, and get on with my life. cheers and good luck and god bless

Have you ever heard of a relationship where one treats the other badly but they return to them over and over again saying that they love the person, deep down the wronged person can see sense but thier judgement is clouded.
Love is blind for as only as long as you want it to be, some people start to think rationally and some never do thinking that nobody understands the person they love like anyone else does.

Love might be blind in the beginning. I think it just becomes near-sighted as time moves on. You see the faults, still, their tenderness, their inward soul more than makes up for any short-comings that you see. True Love is patient and is kind. It deals with the errors and endures until the end.

That is called living with someone. Even then I think some people remain blind to some things.

Great question! I have in the past been guilty of seeing things the way I wanted to see them in regards to love and relationships. I relate it to selective hearing! I want to say that now that I am older (wiser?) I know better, yet I still catch myself occasionally wearing blinders, so that what I am experiencing brings me (temporary) happiness.

erm love doesn't literally blind people. When you love some one it's kinda hard to find thier faults because you care about them so much that it doesn't bother you.

Once the honeymoon period is over you will love 'em one day and hate 'em the next. Depends if you are due on or not.
