no, all prenatal vitamins are, are a mixture of all vitamins that a woman's body needs for optimum performance... i.e to get ready to conceive or to stay healthy and have a good pregnancy... they wont hurt you... they may however make you sick... some pregnant women can take them b/c it causes nausea or/and vomiting... as with any vitamin you should talk to your doctor to make sure that it will not interfere with any other medications you are taking

No it is not bad for you, actually it is very good for you if you are trying to conceive. Doctors reccomend that you start using prenatal vitamins way before you become pregnant. That's because it will prepare your body with all the vitimins it needs once you are pregnant. Especially folic acid. Now on the other hand if you are not trying to get pregnant, but want to take advantage of all the different vitimins I do not reccomend the prenatal vitimin. There are lots of multi vitimins out there that will do the trick. Ask your pharmacist if your not sure on what to take. I hope this answered your question.
Good Luck To You :)

I take them... I havent been pregnant in over 12 yrs. But be careful you aren't taking any other vitamins you can overdose on vitamins easily. Prenatal vitamins have everything. They help my hair grow and nails and sin look great. My doc knows I take them and hasn't objected. If you read the instructions most tell you they can be taken before during and after pregnancy....
Just be careful not to over due it.

no would desire to fret. in case you're lively, then optimistically you have a very stable weight loss application as properly, and an astounding sort of of the foodstuff you like you may get from vegetables and end result. Prenatal supplementations help supplement what the toddler is casting off of your physique, and forestall you from being disadvantaged of foodstuff. they grant mandatory food to the two one among you, yet like I reported, in case you had a wholesome weight loss application, lots of the foodstuff are on your foodstuff... quite cereals (Iron, Calcium, Folic Acid...). females have been having toddlers for hundreds of years upon centuries before Prenatal supplementations got here visiting. it is super which you start up off them now, yet no would desire to fret!

Pre-natal vitamins are formulated especially for the needs of expecting and breastfeeding mothers. Women who aren't pregnant shouldn't be taking them unless they plan to become pregnant within a few months.

Not at all. You can take them. I did for over a year before I conceived my baby. It preps your body up and you have the right stuff in you for pregnancy. Even otherwise, there is no harm in taking them. They mostly have a bigger dosage of folic acid in them (the same you have in orange juices and other citrus varities).
