I have Mass Electric /National Grid and I can not get on Internet billing to save on paper and fuel delivering my mail. Why aren't these Electric companies as concerned about our natural resources as much as we are.

Most electric companies are monopolies - they have no reason to spend money on puttng together something that will require an initial investment on their part. You are going to pay your bill because you don't have a choice, so they have no motivation to upgrade anything.

There are lots of poor and elderly people who still do the snail mail thing. A computer still costs several hundred dollars. It'll be decades, if that soon, before they can do what you suggest.

Mine is. Call yours and ask if you can get electronic billing.
While you are at it, see if you can switch to an alternative energy supplier.

you also have to take in to account unions, people need to keep working, what works for you might not work for someone else.
