Both my Mom and my Sister dream of events that haven't happened yet, and they are never good events. I'm glad I don't have that gift because it freaks me right out when their dreams come true. The only good thing is that they only dream of things that happen close to home; they didn't see 911 coming or anything like that.

I think that everyone has instincts, that can warn you about the future.
But people have taken to ignoring those a lot now.
That gut feeling you get when something bad is going to happen, I think that that is the Average Joe's form of "seeing the future"

I believe that there are a lot of people that can't but once in a while I think some one has that genuine ability. That person will not shout about it or use it for financial gain!

To say predict as in "this is what's ablsoutely gonna happen" ...no.
To present things as they appear to be unfolding at present yes.
Every decision we make changes the time line and therefore makes definate predicting impossible.
