Why does xbox 360 take so long to download Oblivion?

Why does xbox 360 take so long to download Oblivion?

Is there anything to do about it. Downloads take 3-5 minutes sometimes. It is F******g aggrabvating. Any ideas?

PS I don't have access to xbox live.

The file size that you are downloading for oblivian is very big. due to the amount of game play there is in the game and map size, the patches you download have to correspond with the intire game!
