Please help me with the research for my English Paper? And thesis statement?

Ok, My topic is {ethics in relationships}. I need a thesis statement and I need help with my research. Here are the most's:

Must have at least 8 sources. Of those 8 sources, 2 must be scholarly articles and 1 must be a book.

I dont even know what a scholarly article is let alone know where to find one. And I need to come up with a thesis statement and those are hard! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!! You get 10 points if you get me what I want. PLEASE!!!! This is totally serious. I DONT NEED STUPID ANSWERS

A scholarly article as the name itself suggests is article written by famous scholars/writers. So u need two articles of some famous writer on relationship ethics. U can find them on the internet use tags such as 'famous english scholars/writers or ethics in relationship or relationship ethics' in google or yahoo search and see what comes up and find some data for your research and thesis.

its not always 10 points people look for while answerinq questions some of them really wanna help others by sharing their knowledge. Thesis statements may be hard but they are a part of ur education so it is you who has to come up with one. Take help from elders, books and internet but do not expect someone else to write it for you.

Try a local university or college library for your sources. They should have the resources you need. A scholarly article is something by an expert in the field you're writing about for your paper.

Thesis statements can be a bit tricky. You want one broad enough to be able to find sources yet not too narrow so you don't limit yourself too much. Try working with several thesis statements before you settle on one.

I would also recommend having some help you edit your final product. Once you have worked on material for a while, you start missing mistakes. A fresh perspective from someone who can catch grammatical errors would be invaluable to catching things you may have missed.

Scholarly article usually refers to a peer reviewed journal. Try searching at scholar.google.com for those. As for topic how about is it ever ok to cheat on a girlfriend/boyfriend?
