Im a high school student in search of the cheapest way to buy a laptop. I only need it for online, nothing fancy.

Sometimes you can get a good deal on ebay, but be
careful,there are crooks there too.

there are several places to buy good laptops at a resonable price. The two most popular and best places is to either go to Ebay or Craigslist. i would recommend craigslist first. Go to Craigslist.com and choose your city and then select items for sale. I think they have a computer section if not they do have electronics. you will find several good laptops for sale usually.

well cash is the cheapest, as you have to pay interest on credit cards and service charges on cheques

ebay.com
www.craigslist.com
you asked for cheapest....I'd never buy from any of these except for newegg.com or amazon.com places like ebay and craiglist are sometimes and most often un-safe....just don't buy one from dell.com, unless you enjoy being ***-rammed by dumbf***s allday with crap customer service and crap computers, yeah the XPS blows too....and the PC XPS...just sharing (^_^)
