I think their defense is not as dominant as it was in the beginning. Not sure it it is the opponents figuring them out more or not. But for Chicago Bears to get to the Super Bowl, Rex Grossman needs to play well. If he does not I don't think they will win it all. But they can definitely have a good chance to win the NFC

The Bears are playing well over their heads...though even at their level best, they are in the top echelon of the NFC.
I suspect we won't know if they are pretenders or contenders until playoff time.
They have played well, but Grossman seems to be hit and miss depending on the defense he plays. If they run into a strong defense that is attached to a reasonable offense...a healthy Seahawk or Carolina team, for example...they could be in trouble.

They're one of the top 5 teams right now. But they definitely have to shape up on offense or in the playoffs they're going to run into a team that has a great offense and their defense won't be able to win the game for them anymore.

the bears are not guaranteed to win the super bowl i repeat the bears are not guaranteed to win the superbowl they still have to go out and win it anyway they caught the giants at the right time i mean come on seriously the giants are all banged up and nicked up and injury plagued who knows what might have happened had the giants been at full strength

They have a good team with a GREAT defense, same thing they have had for the last couple years. BUT not good enough to win anything important! Grossman is not ready to take the Bears to any place special...>STOP THE FAVRE comparisons!!!
