Check out a feng shui site, it will definitely tell you where to face your bed depending on the energies around you. For example, if you have a mean neighbor to the west, you would probably want to sleep farthest away from that side of the room, and E-W so that you were never facing that neighbor.

This reminds me of something one of my uncles believed... that when playing cards, the team sitting the same way the bathtub in the house runs will win. LOL
Let me ask something too..... If facing one direction is better for sleep, and I lived on the North Pole, what position is best for me to sleep? :o)

Just sleep. Who actually goes to sleep in directions. Once I am comfortable then I am good.
