the only occupation that ever worked for us was Japan, we are not designed to occupy Iraq. All that its doing is killing our troops and spending billions of tax dollars when we have better things to do. I support our troops, have sent 2 of my sons and 2 son in laws there. But the war was wrong from get go, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, if you believe the gvernment version of 9/11 it was all Saudi comnspiarators who committed the deed, yet we have not lifted a finger, not imposed a sanction against them! Hussien may have been evil, but the Saudi Roayl family is just if not more evil on a scale of evil. Its like if the neighbor kid punches you in the nose, so you kick the crap out of someother kid and let the attack go as if nothing happened! If we want a war of retalaition invade Saudi Arabia, I guarentee Bin Ladden will return home to defend his country, hell nuke em then we can use the oil for gas and night lights! Wake up America! Bush, Chenny must be impeached

It will dawn on us when we quit sacrificing the lives of our troops for the lies that the White House gave for getting us in Iraq.

Split the country into 3 self-controlling states (Sunni, Kurd & Shite) and have them all agree on a central goverment. Case closed.

When it dawns on all Americans and in fact all people that we are each responsible and accountable for the way we live, just as those whom we oppress under the guise of freedom and liberty, civil and human rights for all.

This responsibility cannot be left to an occasional vote.

About the time the troops leave Iraq and all hades breaks loose. Then the world will be screaming that the US left to quickly and the Iraqi government wasn't prepared to take full control yet.

Any clue how long the United States "occupied" Germany after the end of World War 2? Hint we are still there just the name of the deployment has changed.

We should have never went there in the first place-approx. 40 percent of the Iraqis had no problem with Hussein (the sunnis and the shites who had done well financially)-It was one of the stupidist moves in the history of mankind...let that idiot Bush figure it out....

Occupation? We have no desire to be there but we can't leave the good people there to defend themselves, that would be wrong and we'd be right back to fix it again.

Once they are able to take care of themselves we'll leave.
