My first time at the polls and when I asked what to do they said fill this(ballot) out and get in line. My friends and I set down and filled our ballots out and yes we did ask each other questions. When we got into line we were told we couldnt stand in line because we had our ballots filled out. Is there a law against discussing our vote or not using our right to privacy? I dont see why others cant see our vote if we choose. Where can I get witten laws on this as I'd like to take it to the meeting tonight.

No, there is no law against discussing your vote with others. As far as I'm concerned a lot of people are paranoid about the privacy of their vote. Unless you are ashamed of what or who you are voting for or against I don't feel that it makes a difference. I am a poll worker in Toledo, OH, if it comes up I tell the voter it is up to them if they want to use a privacy screen etc. It is every ones right to have a secret ballot. There are regulations against having a union official or someone like that "assist" you if you have a disability though.

Read the bill of rights,
here
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abrid the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceable to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of greivences"

Now, if smoking is your religion, is it fair to ban it from a restraunt?
all is now subjective and every man a law unto himself with the president being above
due to the fact
he has people arrested for speaking against him
he passed the patriot act
and the FBi spies on all of us

They were probably making sure that someone else didn't fill out your ballots for you. From their point of view, you got into line with ballots already filled out and maybe didn't know if you filled them out yourself or not.
