Somebody asked a question about the meaning of life...
What does one live for and is it really worth spending that energy? Does it make you happy at the end of the day?

My family and friends - not work. At my work they couldn't give a toss about me, so although I work hard, I don't make it my life. Jobs come and go, but friends and family are special

In all honesty I live for myself, I think we all do. Then while living our lives we become connected to other people and their lives (Ex.children, spouse,...). Then we change our way of living for their happiness but still regarding our own. So we never really stop living for ourselves, we just learn how to live with/for others. And at the end of the day when we can look back and see the happiness of those around us and ourselves, then that is what makes us happy.

To me.. its 5 things.
1) Family
2) Friends
3) Working and making good money to support my loved ones.
4) Religion/Spirituality
5) Building a life that you can call your own. Independance.

We were made to worship God
that is the meaning of life
Jesus makes every thing worth it

I live just for the privilege of being able to, people fight tooth and nail every day to live so count your blessings that you do. I know people that would do anything to have loved ones back that they've lost.

I live for myself.. I saw a quote yesterday that said something like; look out for yourself because you are the only one that will be there for your entire life.

I live...for better tomorrow...and I have hopes that tomorrow will be better than today. In god I trust and I know that everything will be ok.
