How exactly am I to blame for the crap the US pulled in the Middle East over the last few decades? I'm not. Doesn't mean I might not have to step up and help put it right.
Give us a break from all this put-on innocence garbage. Everyone in this country has to deal with some of the crap resulting from what prior generations did wrong. Yet we all benefit a great deal more from what they did right. One thing they got very wrong was race and we're all dealing with the legacy of putting that right. You seem to be suggesting that where black and native people are concerned, you should have lesser obligations because you just got here. Are you also arguing that you should also enjoy fewer opportunities than other Americans because you also did nothing to help create them? Didn't think so.
If you just got here in the 1970's and you don't like this country - racial warts and all - then go back to where you came from. Otherwise, stop whining about how innocent you are and try to do something to improve race relations in this country.

You aren't.
However, your family is probably richer than the average black
family (assuming you are not in a black family). The inequity
of the situation is, perhaps, due to your ancestors, not due to you.
However, you are profiting from their misdeeds. That is, if
your great great grandfather was a slave owner, then the
family fortune (or at least some portition of it) was made by
the misfortunes of others.
Imagine being destitute and surrounded by rich people - and
the only reason that they are rich and you are poor had to do
with what is now considered illegal, only it happened more than
a century ago.
The reality of socioeconomics is that you are more likely to have
money if your parents had money. You are more likely to be
better educated if you are parents are better educated.
In short - a huge part of what makes you you is really
stuff your ancestors do - and other people resent that.
There is an expression that French Royalty were supposed
to live by: Nobles Oblige (I must be mispelling it). It roughly
translates to the obligations of the nobility. If you have money,
especially money that you inherited, you are morally obligated
to do well by your less fortunate neighbors.
Ultimately, if you don't ... well, some day they may rise up
and lop of your head.

I know how you feel. I somtimes wonder why other countries hate Americans because of the war when I as an American actually had nothing to do with it. Yes our government represents the people of America but that doesn't mean all the people of America agree with our government. It's not like we can do anything about what our government does in other countries.

I personally don't blame the white people of this generation for what their ancestors did in this country and I don't blame the whites who weren't even born & raised in America.

Perhaps your ancesters were...but get over it. YOu and others get over it and move on. There were atrosities that were horrible and cannot be imagined - for this we are very sad. About the only thing you can do is to remember history, don't let it be repeated, and fight hatred here and now all around you. Just be a good, kind person and fight injustice whenever you see it.

dont worry love, no one is blaming you for anything...at least im not. Im black and indian, but i dont hold white ppl responsible for anything. That was then this is now. NOONE that played a part in what happened back then is even alive, so perhaps love, those childish ppl who always want to blame other for there misfortunes need to be ignored....

Who says you are??? Why are all your questions about African-Americans, and Native Americans why don't you do everyone a favor and get a life. Idiots like you bring up race all the time and then complain when someone checks you on it.
