I personally don't have the same political viewpoint as she does on many issues. I also find her to be arrogant.

I like her very much. I think too many people make assumptions about her for the most part. There are those who claim she's too liberal, when really she is a very conservative and moderate Democrat. Some people don't like it because she stayed with Bill. Personally, that was when my admiration for her began. I have no doubt she stayed with him for political reasons, she was thinking about the Presidency even back then. What's wrong with that? How many men in politics play around on the side but stay married because they know a divorce would hurt their political aspirations? Why should Hillary be any different? And why does that make her bad? It tells me she knows how to play the game, and I never want a President that doesn't know how to do that. She was in the public eye in the most humiliating way possible and she handled herself with poise and showed personal strength that gave me much admiration for her.
I think when the national campaign platform is revealed that people will become more comfortable with her politics. I think that many of them don't really know what she stands for and make assumptions based on her husband's Presidency and past scandals. She is her own woman, no doubt, and we're going to see a lot of that in the next two years.

Geez, I came back to read your answers and got a kick out of CoBlonde saying Hillary's a lesbian. ROTF. That's exactly what I'm talking about, b.s. extraordinaire. Nothing to back it up, just slander. That's 90% of what we hear about Hillary, slander and b.s.

The repuglicans have fired up the hate machine on her, as I think that they fear her. She makes to much sense. It is about the mud slinging that usually goes on in a campaign, if there is nothing to dig up then they make something up. Which brings me to Rush Limbaugh as he is the originator of most of the negative comments made here. I personally think she would make a fine president, she is an intelligent woman, and not afraid to stand up for what she thinks is right. She would have one of the best advisers in the world in her husband, the last legally elected president, and the best at running the business of the country that I have seen, that would be over 40 years.

Nothing...save the fact that a country with a strong Religious Right Wing would never vote in a woman due to the traditional rules set out in the Bible.
The problem Clinton will have getting in, seeing as she really was not tarnished by her husband's presidency, is getting Americans to accept that a woman can run the country. Beyond that, she is just as middle of the road as any Bush, Nixon or Reagan.

You're right, people do seem to really hate her, but I have no problem with her. I think many people feel very threatened by a no-nonsense woman with the guts to speak right up. Men still like a demure woman who defers to the man to give all the answers.

Well for one she isn't exactly smart since she stayed with Bill after he cheated on her and made her look like a fool. Mostly she is just too liberal for me to like.

she's shrill, annoying, and only got where she is today on the back of her even more annoying cheater of a husband. if she has such bad judgement when it comes to men, how can we trust her judgement on more important issues!
