Why do Republicans think
they Iraqi war is free and
the USA doesn't pay a cent?

Well, we the taxpayer get to pay for it-- and our children and grandchildren will pay too.

I don't think cons think its free. They (the gov) just don't advertise it much. Think about it. If people are dying in a war with dimishing support, do you think people want to advertise the fact that we'll be paying for that war for decades/generations to come? Or that it may cost us 1 Trillion dollars or more?

That said, we were sold a bill of goods initially that the oil revenues etc. were going to defray the costs of rebuilding Iraq and the war. That has not been the case nor will it necessarily ever be the case.

The Republicans thought that by starting a war that the public knew was going to be a losing battle,the President's approval ratings would go up.Instesd,his approval ratings have dipped singifcantly.The people whowork are paying for the war.
