I've only gained 2.4 lbs total. Is this average weight gain? I walk a lot and watch what I eat as well. I try my hardest to stay away from junk food. I eat lots of fruits, salad and watch my calorie intake.

Thats great you stay so healthy for your baby. But just make sure you are getting the right amount of calories for your baby to grow properly! Protien helps the brain development, make sure you are getting plenty! Your OB will let you know if there are concerns as well.

ALthough most women will have gained more by 20 weeks, all women are different. If your doctor is happy and the baby is developing properly then you should be fine. (I don't know about you but if women are heavy to begin with they don't seem to be gaining weight, and some lose weight--off their total.)

There's a pregnancy club " What To Expect" from this web site. It's like a pregnancy bible. It has all the information and tips about pregnancy. Hope this will help.

The best thing to do is to discuss this with your doctor. I can tell you that my sister-in-law actually LOST weight during her pregnancy and my nephew is healthy, adorable, AND smart!
