Can a United states citizen play in Spain's THIRD DIVISION of their proffesional soccer league?

I know the 2nd division allows it but the third division I can't find the answer to that question. I do have Residency in Spain if that helps!!

I think in Spain, as long as the club has not used up it's quota of non-EU players registered, it is ok for a US citizen to play for them.

Depends on the club really.
