well...the games i play are mostly like flight simulation....and since they are simulation games they require more memory all over your P.C so i have both versions of flightsimulator 2004 and 2006 which is FSX they are really really detailed and need some serious graphic and memory attention,,,,for example lets say FSX the new version of flight sim has the most detail right now in microsoft games it has all over the world covered with massive details such as realistic grounds waters..effects and everything...and for anything this big u need serious upgrades...my p.c is 3.2ghz intel pentium4...with 512RAM,,,80GB harddrive,,,,256AGP(GEFORCE 6200) card....with 64bit speed.....and its kinda slow for FSX .....

i prefer to use a personal computer because you could change the spec, but if you want to use the laptop you have to look for the specs first! because the games nowadays have a really massive specs. i myself prefer to use personal computer with 3.0 gHrz 1024mb(in 2 pieces of 512mb)memory and the video card of the ati-rodeon X800. with a minimum of directx 9.0(10.0 is better) that's if it is me, well its up to you!
