I gave your question a lot of thought, and I researched online for some offenses that might work. I found an informative site that is the best free site I have seen with all kinds of basketball information, offenses, defenses, you name it.

Maybe it will help.

The offense would be dependent upon what zone defense you are going up against. Here are some links to pages on my site, Hoops U., that may be helpful.

Check this main page of zone offense information: http://www.hoopsu.com/zoneoffense.html Here you will find various offenses and set plays to utilize against a zone defense of any type.

Check out my 'Zone Offense 101' series to gain an understanding of many techniques and skills that will make you a better zone offensive team: http://www.hoopsu.com/zoneoffense101.html

Two key pages are also the '21 Zone Offense Principles' - http://www.hoopsu.com/files/zone_principles.html These are principles to follow in order to get better shots and to demolish any zone defense. The other page is '18 Techniques for Getting Open Shots' - http://www.hoopsu.com/files/techniques_for_shots.html This will help teach the players how to effectively play against any zone.

1-3-1 One man bringing it up at the top of the key. Your 2 and 3 guards play the wings. Your 5 man at the foul line and the 4 man in the short corner underneathe the hoop. get into the short corner, have the defence converge and kick it for an open three or a layup to the 5 man. You need a good shooting team to keep the defence honest.

Humm..that's a good question. Zone offenses tend to rely mostly on passing in order to get the defense moving around and confused. You don't want anything too complicated then. Maybe a simple switch up top (PG passes to one side, then switches with the guard on the other side). Have you post players flashing to the free throw line from the low block on the ball side. I don't know the name for the play, we just called it "Blue."

when a defense plays zone then you need to have some good shooters who can hit shots from all over the perimeter but you also nee good passers if you don't have good shooters or passers then i suggest you pass the ball around and have guys cut to the basket alot but passing is a big part of any offense good luck

just have them cut every time they pass the ball...also have your post players cut to the foul line each time the ball is swung to the opposite side
