Because you choose to see it that way.
Open your eyes a little and you will find that there is pleasure and fun to be found everywhere, even in the most menial tasks.

Sometimes it's just a matter of how you look at it. I know everyone says that but it is really true in most cases. But of course you can't just suddenly find it all interesting by clicking your fingers - think of something that interests you and develop it into a hobby or even a career. Sometimes you need to clear out some mental junk because that can really stand in the way, and changing your life to be more fulfilling can take some real hard work and perseverance. It works differently for different people so you can explore yourself and see what works - maybe counselling, meditation and sport, whatever.
That's just for the boring part. Life being hard - well sometimes there is nothing for that even though it all depends on what you are doing about it. But nothing makes life better than having a passion, so maybe an interesting hobby will take your mind off things. At least some of the time.

It isn't. Youfind it hard and boring because you believe it to be so. Start thinking some different thoughts, and using some different beliefs. Something rathermore imaginative than somebody else's negative dross that you have bought in to. Everyone's experience of life is different.
If you doubt this, look out and about and you will, after a while, come across cheerful and contented people. If life is hard and boring, how come they are different? The answer is that they choose to think and be different. They choose to think, act and be cheerful. They see the bigger picture in life and know why certain things happen. Their positive attitudes mean that they get on a lot better than negative people with others (and that does include the boss).
As people think, so they shall be.

Take risks.
You will get quite a lot of rubbish saying "it depends how you look at it etc".
This is untrue. A piece of mouldy bread doesnt become tasty because you chose to regard it as so.
My life was pretty hard and boring but I managed to get out of the hole I was in, in London, and moved abroad, where things are generally jollier.
I think that you will always go through these negative patches, but have to keep taking risks or they overwhelm you and you end up in a rut.

Ah, Dan got there ahead of me.
It really cannot be that 'hard' if it is so boring....!
Boredom is your own responsibility, your choice, squire.
As for hard! Woah. How hard is it then? Do you live in Afghanistan where your house has been blown up, your family wiped out in front of you, your life destroyed.?
Do you live in East Africa somewhere where it is a 3 mile journey to walk to get water to fetch to your hut ...and then the water isn't really 'safe' to drink ...and anyway, your partner has died of AIDS, your kids are sick and the nearest medical treatment is a two day walk away.
Did you catch say, Polio, as a child, or have Muscular Dystrophy and now, these things are coming to catch you up ...though, getting the costs of medical treatment just to make life comfortable for you, you are met with a 'Please Demonstrate you Health Status,' each time you just simply ask for 'Help.'
So, your life is really goddam hard then. It could be worse, you could lose your PC or Internet connection too!
I hope things really do improve for you.
Sash.

This true because it is so easy and exciting to live. Huamnity has gotten so exicited that it turned what was beautiful into what looks like a trash dump. In order for everyone to be free we have to limit that freedom. Of course, that's humanity for you. Still now that you admit life is boring you will soon see how exciting life can be through how boring it is, until you see how boring it is again.

Life is what you can afford to make it. If you are broke you have to be really creative to make it worthwhile and satisfying, it appears to me the more money you have the easier and more fulfilling life can be. You have more options to travel, seeing things, meeting people. The more people you know or connect with makes life more fulfilling. But I agree life is hard. I struggle everyday just to pay bills and eat. As for boredom without hobbies or interests it can be very boring. Keep your head up hopefully it will get better.

cause you arent working towards anything you have no purpose. if you are just in it to 'be' then its always hard and boring because you cant achieve anything. you cant win so you probably dont even try.
even if your only goal in life is to find something that you want to do and you never find that thing, so long as you are working towards finding it you at least are always accomplishing the task of shortening your list.

Consider this: what are you doing that is making your life hard?
As for being bored. Boredom is a sign that there isn't enough
in your life to stimulate you.
You need to get out more and find things to do that will stimulate.

Another silly question from a juvenile mind . Life is only boring when you allow it to control you . you are in charge ,take charge,be positive, turn it around . life is not a red carpet you have to reach out and grab it and give it a good shake .

No one owes you pal,try harder ,and being a little more optimistic
would probably help too. Ultimately you are in charge of both your destiny and how easy or hard life will be for you.Cheer up, past is past move on and hurry up there's a long line.
