I love their mineral makeup, and wanted to try this cause it seemed like something that would help with my skin problem. If anyone has used it let me know what you liked or disliked about it?

I love Bare Escentuals mineral make-up; been wearing it for a couple of years now. I have noticed a difference in my face. The texture of my skin has improved and I have less oil on my face. When I wear it, I don't feel like I'm wearing any make-up because it's so light unlike traditional make-up. I can cover my imperfections better with this make-up than I could with traditional make-up. I can even go to bed in it and not feel guilty about not having washed my face, but I do wash my face pretty much every night.
I think the only real negative is the cost of it. I don't like that it costs so much, but I haven't worried about that because my mom keeps buying it for me, and an aunt and my mom have shared with me some of the colors that they have. Even though the cost of it is high, the plus is the make-up lasts a long time.

I want to try Rare Minerals! I've been using Bare Minerals from Bare Escentuals for several years and I'll never use any other make up again. I recommend it to everyone, it's the closest thing to magic in make up that I've tried, and I've tried quite a few including alternate mineral make up, BE is definitely the best!

Rare minerals is getting rave reviews on the BE board I post to. However, it IS a fan forum so I take that with a grain of salt. The $60 pricetag is a bit prohibitive for me,. but I do have samples and beleive it does help when i spot cover pimples at night. If the $ is too much right now, I'd wait and see the other companies following suit. If you want to treat yourself, go ahead and order from QVC--you can return within 30 days if you're not happy with it!

Yes the rare mineral is a really good makeup but a little pricey. I am an AVON rep and they have come out with Pure Minerals foundation and I really like it just as well and its not as pricey its only 7.99 right now and the brush is 4.99 or you can get the set for only 9.99 if you like you could check out my website its www.youravon.com/nonnieramsey there is so much stuff on there I just love it!!! I use it and I love it! I has really helped with my oily skin, and doesn't make me break out. The Mineral Veil will soak up anything in sight... =0) It doesn't feel like you have makeup on, but it makes your skin look flawless, naturally... And since its good for your skin, you can use as much as you want as often as you want and it won't cause any damage. I am pretty much obsessed with the stuff!!

This makeup is the best makeup i have ever put on. i've only been using it for a year but i've been getting less acne because this makeup doesn't plug u'r pores like other foundations do. i know that they have they're own stores and they have them in Ulta and Sephora so maybe you should go their and have them put it on you to see if it works with u' skin or not. it you want it to be affordable i've seen them on the QVC channel and then come with really good prices. i just don't like they're brushes.

Its decent makeup... but try Larenim, its also a good mineral makeup.. I do believe its a bit more affordable..,

I use it every night and I follow up in the morning with Elizabeth Arden clear the way mask to remove the dead skin and create a smooth surface, it is the best.

i never used natural makeup until i learned that certain types of makeups can harm you and cause illness's and harm your body, so i turned over to bare essentials and i LOVE IT!! the prices are very affordable and they last, the quality of the makeup is fabulous and now it's all i use. i definately reccommend bare essentials!
