i'm assuming you mean to use it without permission?
yes there is, but it's not easy and can take a long long time to crack
i would suggest the program wepcrack http://wepcrack.sourceforge.net/
if your wireless card does not support packet injection this can take weeks, depending on how active the wlan is.
good luck ;)
you really should get permission first though, i live in a cluster of apartment buildings, and a lot of people were trying to get on my wireless network, so i setup a dummy network, and when people log on i steal their passwords and read their IM conversations, some say it's unethical, but they're on _my_ network without my permission and trying to use the network resources that i pay for with my hard earned money. so just keep that in mind when you're on someone else's network.

It's comparable to stealing someone's eletricity or water lines without their knowing, but yes, it's possible. And it can lead to even nastier things like you causing the ISP to shut down the WEP network due to illegal activities coming from their network point.

There are tools out there that can crack just about any WEP password within seconds-- no kidding! And they only need a small number of captured packets on which to operate. Follow the referenced URL to find it.

Lesson here is: WEP is only effective against the ignorant. Anyone with a small amount of determination will crack your WLAN. Recommendation: Use WPA, or even better WPA2.

The WEP encryption is like a lock on the network, just like you lock your doors to keep unauthorized people from coming in your house. Is there a way to break it? I suppose so, just like someone can break in your house. Get my point?
