Ask your Dad or another relative to take you to the hospital. If you are in school you can tell the school nurse.

Get some help, you may have some broken ribs and they are really painful.

first off if you can go online and type out this question, your not that hurt. Second of all you have access to the phone call for help. Third hopefully you go to school, tell the school nurse what happend. There are so many options all you need to do is choose one of them. If you have a broken rib, 1) you may have trouble breathing, 2) you'll see bruising around your upper quadrant area, 3) you would be in a whole lot of pain. If you said yes to anyone of those, GET HELP FAST!! BTW you should send your mother to parenting classes, even if you have a scratch on your finger she should be more nurturing than brushing you off. Bad mother bad, shame on her!!

If its either swollen, black and blue, or really hurts if your breathe, twist or anything of the like you should go to the hospital. Its probably a good idea to get checked anyway. I broke 3 ribs in karate once, and didn't realise as i assumed it'd hurt more, same with other bone, ligament and cartilage injuries i've had, Its just useful to know what's wrong, even if its minor.

You would not be sitting on the computer if you had fractured or broken ribs.

That said, there is nothing the hospital could do for you with bruised, cracked, and in most cases even broken ribs. Its not something that can be set and put in a cast. In most cases ribs are simply bruised, which is quite painful, but heals on its own.

The hospital would most likely take an xray, and send you home with instructions to avoid further injury and take a pain killer.

Somethign you can do for yourself at home.

Is your ribcage swollen? Is it black and blue? Then you should show her and that should convince her that you are not lying and actually need to go to the hospital. Otherwise just call an ambulance and get yourself to the hospital but only if it is a real emergency!

If you were hurting that bad, for example if you had a broken rib, you would not be on the computer asking people on a site what you should do. You would have already called 911 for yourself. Ask your mom for a couple of tylenol or motrin.

Phone 911, tell them the situation and ask if they can send an ambulance to come get you. They more than likely will, and they may have a talk with your mom if she's around when they come.

there is 2 sides 2 every story and I think U R leaving some out. Do you lie 2 her alot, if U R really hurt I think your mom could tell, Unless she is a crackhead or a drunk, then U should just go to E.R. yourself.

Insist to her that it hurts and you feel something is wrong. You should go to the Dr's regardless what she thinks. Tell her that she can yell at you all she wants if the Dr. says that nothing is wrong.
