Hi there !
I presume she had undergone "inguinal hernia " repair ! ??
Okay..I had undergone the same in December 2004 ! Following are to be taken care of :
1. NO weight lifting !
2. Light diet !
3. Ask her not to strain in toilet !
4. While taking bath, ask her to sit !
5. Constipation, should be avoided at any
cost... by taking food at the right time and
by the intake of fruits for some time to
come !
It is said that about 5-10% of the hernia cases come back with a recurrence after 3 years ! If we as pateints take more care, we can avoid it !
The doctors can advise..but we have to practise !
