I have been wondering how to place a password on a folder myself!! However, i know how to lock a word document. First you must open the document, then click on the 'Tools" tab then choose options; in the options window choose security, u will find it there called password to open and if u want password to modify. When you are done click ok and close. When you close and it asks you to save changes click yes. Don't forget that if you forget the password it cannot be recovered, and that passwords are case sensitive. Hope this is what you want to know.

good click on the folder and flow all the way down to residences. lower than the "commonly used" tab, there'll be an determination to cover the folder. go with "hidden" to attempt this, and click ok. The folder will effectively disappear. To view the folder flow onto the administration panel, flow lower than "performance and upkeep", then open "document sorts" contained in the field on the left. flow lower than the "view" tab and scroll all the way down to the position it says "hidden information and folders". go with "instruct hidden information and folders" and click okay to view your folder. be confident to flow decrease back onto this once you're done and click "do not instruct" otherwise people will be able to make sure it too.
