I can buy the locket and even have it engraved but where would I take the picture I have of them which is a standard sized photo to have it fit into the locket.....Help! This make their 40 year anniversary!

You can buy the locket at a jewelry store, and they should be able to engrave it. Go to a digital photography store or or a print shop to have the pic resized or do it your self at somewhere like walmart photo. Or you scan it on your own computer and resize in a program like photoshop. Some print shops (and Walmart Photo shops) can even engrave a picture onto a locket. These are very realistic and beautiful and maybe something to think about.

I was trying to think of what to get my mother for Christmas this year, and you've given me a great idea...thanks!

Whichever editor you have will do to make it smaller, even with the undeniable fact that a solid one (alongside with Photoshop, components, PSP or Gimp) permit you to sharpen it good, too. degree the locket (and shrink out a paper template), then resize (and sharpen) the photograph. From this element forward, i could now use MS writer because of the fact it makes the subsequent area incredibly trouble-free. for the reason that's continuously "fiddly" to get the size suitable, i could practice numerous distinctive techniques, i.e. length certainly one of them to what you think of is suitable, then make some somewhat smaller and a few somewhat greater ones. positioned all of them next to a minimum of one yet another (and due to their tiny length they are going to nonetheless in effective condition onto an particularly small area) and print them out. you're able to do this for the time of your guy or woman printer, or make a 4x6" historic past, positioned each and all of the little photographs on there, then have it revealed out at a kiosk. you are able to now use the template to %. the appropriate sized print previously you certainly hint and shrink out the form.

If you have a scanner, you should be able to shrink it on your own computer. If you know of anyone with a scanner and printer take it there and edit it in photoshop or something to change the image size. Otherwise, I think wal mart or kinkos could shrink it for you.

If you have photo workshop software on your computer, you can do it at home. Remember to use photopaper when you print. Or bring it to one of the camera, photo shop and have them do it. Good luck.
