You should try to contact some of the other wives who's husbands are deployed. Or contact his commander's wife. I think that's who my sister talked to, at first. Her husband's in the Navy, too.
I know how desperately hard it is, but it gets a little better.
Also, spend some time looking through recipes for things you'll cook him when he's back, and shop for nice gifts to give him when he returns.
And keep a journal of the things you would be saying to him if he were home. Comments and jokes that you'd normally share.

Are there other wives that you can talk too?? They might help put your mind at ease. I know that it has to be tough with him so far away.Take it from somebody whose Hubby never goes away, enjoy it. You have some freedom that I don't. Please don't stress. He will be back before you know it. Join a club or support group. Talk out your feelings with a loved one. Get a cat?? You will be fine. Good luck!

Be patient and things will work out for the better. Maybe you can consider undertaking a trip to the place where he will be stationed next. You can then meet him there.
