What are you saying that Duncan has the back-up while Garnett has none?

First of all, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili have been rookies and basically since Duncan came the whole offense runs through him. He makes the pieces fit and revolve around him: Just ask D-Rob, Avery Johnson, Manu, Tony and Bruce. And if it weren't for Timmy, the last three guys wouldn't be all-stars.

Garnett had all the proven veteran back-up he needed during 2004. Latrell Sprewell and Cassell were amazing, and still he didn't win a championship. Duncan had 3, plus 2 Season MVPs in terms of individual talent. Anyway, Championship > MVP, since basketball is a team sport.

Anyway, I just remembered there was a video where D-Rob and some other Timberwolf were fighting, and Duncan wanted to talk it over. Instead, KG just sneaked up behind his back and slapped him unrespectfully. Talk about attitude.

Obviously, Duncan with the rings wins out. Then again you're also as good as the guys around you. Having said that, Garnett has never led his team to any real playoff glory like winning a rd. or two.

Skills--I'd say Dunacn is so smooth and controlled that he is more skilled. Granett looks more spectacular but Duncan is just as good a shooter, rebounder and defender.

Achievements--obviously Duncan, if you stack up his first team All-NBA and All-NBA defence team selections plus his MVPs in both the regular season and Finals.

Sure Duncan has got three rings but you know something, KG would have those rings too if he played with David Robinson, Tony Parker, and Mano Ginobli. The only players KG got to play with were Terrell Brandon, Wally Szerzbiak, and Rasho Nesterovic. Oh and I didn't forget about Billups and Marbury because they were not at superstar status when they were playing in Minnesota.
I do think Tim Duncan is an incredable player, and he is better down low than KG, and KG has had problems guarding TD but lets face it. Can TD dribble the ball up the coart? I sure the hell never see him do it.
In terms of Leadership i pick KG since he has to be a leader for his team since he don't have anyone else to rely on if he has a bad night.
In terms of Skills I pick KG once again because he can play more than just the power foward position. back when the wolves made it to the confrence finals, KG was playing PG when Sam Cassel was given a rest.
In terms of achievements i would pick Duncan because he has three titles, back to back MVPs, and is always making the playoffs.
The wolves would be at the top right know if it weren't for that Joe Smith signing, because the wolves lost on a lot of oppertunities. If that never of happened then the wolves would have drafted Tony Parker, but they don't have him because they lost all of those draft picks.

Duncan is a better leader, and Garnett is more skillful.

Garnett is better. He has no one. He has to carry the team on his back with no help. When he touches the ball the entire team comes to him.

Duncan has help. He has decoys and such that help his game, but his game sucks. Same 2 or 3 moves.

Rings don't mean much...remember...all those no name guys on the pine have rings too.

Duncan, not because he has rings. They played as a TEAM to win it. He has other all stars playing with him (Tony Parker) and (Manu Ginobili). In other hand. Garnett has no other good players plaing with him, so i give him a lot of credit. (He needs to get traded ASAP)

Tim Dunan has a Rookie of the Year award, three rings and two MVP trophies. Kevin Garnett only has one MVP award. Therefore, Dunan is better.
