The ink would cost more then what you would make.

No. The main problem is that you are not able to cash them in anywhere. In order to take them to the store, you need to buy the correct item (and you don't plan to do that) and you cannot take them to the manufacturer either, as you are not a wholesale buyer of the product. You will have millions of worthless pieces of paper.
