Real Madrid won a Champios League just before Ronaldo arrived. But he did won a UEFA Cup with Barcelona.

I found in his official website that he (and Real Madrid) won the 2002 World Interclubs Final against Olimpia (from Paraguay, champion of Libertadores de America).
To play this final, Real Madrid must be the winner os Champions League in the same Year.
