The infamous 60 cycle hum. Your guitar has single coil pickups which aren't grounded, so you get a hum. It will get worse near flourescent lights and some other electrical equipment. The best thing you can do is shield your guitar's pickup cavity with shielding paint or thin copper which is grounded to the body. This will reduce the noise, but that's probably all.

Your guitar isn't grounded good. verify your cable connections, too.. i've got considered that reason a grounding short. attempt utilizing a distinctive capability outlet to your amp, and be certain you haven't any loose connections in the guitar itself.

Check the grounding on your amp.... you may have a switch for the polarity.... try it the other way. Make sure your black light isn't too close to your amp. Use "Life Line" brand guitar chords.
