i got a paper that i'm supposed to figure this out with... and yes i can use the computer.

here are clues

I'm standing by the most famous mountain in this landlocked European country. As i gaze at it, a man is playing an alpine horn.
In 1865, 7 Great Brittian climbers climbed to the top but only four made it down. I also bought some chocolates. (I know its in Swedin)

Thank you guys in advance!

I think you mean *Switzerland* (which *is* landlocked). The most famous mountain there is the Matterhorn (which was the basis of the rollercoaster ride in Disneyland...).

Its height is 14,683 ft (or 4,478m) and on July 14, 1865, the British climbing party of Edward Whymper, Charles Hudson, Lord Francis Douglas, and Douglas Hadow, with Michel Croz and the two Peter Taugwalders (father and son) tried the Hörnli route and found it considerably easier than expected. On the descent Hadow slipped, knocking Croz off his feet, and dragging Hudson and Douglas with him. The rope connecting them to the other three men broke; the four fell to their deaths on the Matterhorn Glacier 1,400 m below. (I think your clue is off here because seven made it to the top, but *four* died leaving only *three* that made it down.) Switzerland is known for alpine horns and chocolates.

The answer has to be the Matterhorn in Switzerland...

It can't be Sweden- you mean Switzerland! There is no 14.600 f mountain in sweden, the highest is 1400 m!

Also, sweden is hardly landlocked, and swedes don't play alpine horns (or if they do, they don't do it in public where people can see).
