Love is important to make life more meaningful. But there are othre important traits needed in life. Like knowledge, developing skills etc. Life on the other hand can be a part of love. Or it need not be also. You can love inanimate things like a mountain, sculpture, your house etc. It is a complex question and the answer is not as simple as you have described. These are two aspects interlinked and not comprise the whole of the other. Think louder and you will get a clearer picture.

Love is there even before your life... your life started because of love of two persons. Once you r born ur parents love u, once u r married ur wife loves u, once u get children u start loving them , once u r old ur children start loving u,,, but ,,, these are all part of your life. Your life has got so many things other than love,,, but a life without love is like a dish without salt...hence love and life needs to go hand in hand..

Your depth of love can only be matched by your depth of pain. Without love one can't have life. If there is no love in ones everyday practices they will become hardened and sheltered from the regular routine of living,But when one discovers the beauty of love their life seems more alive and filled with a diverse happiness so I'd say without love what are you living for?

Well this is a pretty in depth question. The way I look at things is that you can't fully live if you haven't loved... now by this I don't just mean love as in a boyfriend or girlfriend I mean it as loving a friend, your family, a pet even.
