During the War Between the States Kentucky had representation in the north and southern governments. So if the south had won the war what would the fate of Kentucky been, would they been in the United States or the Confederate States of America?

If the South had won, Kentucky would most likely have been the very next state to seceed as the Union would have unraveled.

The North would have introduced the constitutional amendment to prohibit further secession earlier or it would have fallen apart completely--the whole would be reunited into the confederacy, which was drawn around the pre-constitutional US government with some reasonable modifications.

History following would have been tremendously different--who would have won WWII without our united resources and resolve?

Well, Im from Kentucky and i would say we would go to the South!! But honestly to go with the true historical happenings, the state would have probably been divided. But one day the south will rise again, and we will find out!!

Kentucky could have been welcomed into the Confederate States if it chose to go; or it might have divided like Virginia did, along county lines.
