My favorite chinese restaurant of all time got caught with skinned cats in their freezers in the restaurant. Since it was for personal consumption, they didn't get in trouble or anything, but they did lose most of their business. I don't like cats though, so I still go. I just meow everytime I come in then laugh to myself. Can you tell I don't have a life? Anyway...so I guess it might be a horror story for those people who quit going to the restaurant.
Oh wait, I have another. I went to pick up some food from a local chinese restaurant last year, and the old man making the food had fingernails at least half an inch passed his fingertips and they were BLACK underneath. God it was disgusting...I may not mind kitty cats, but I just can't take disgustingly dirty looking hands.

There was a chinese buffet in my home town growing up that we'd go to on occasion - until the restaurant report came out in the newspaper stating that all but one of the local chinese restaurants had been discovered to have cockroaches in their kitchen/food prep areas. YUCK!!! I avoid it as much as possible now!

I was in a Chinese buffet in Springfield, MO a couple of years ago. I had finished my meal and was going to the buffet for some orange slices. I swear, I heard a meow coming from the kitchen behind the buffet. I left immediately.

A restaurant near my home was closed when dead cats were found hanging in the freezer. They were able to reopen when they proved they were for personal use.
