Any bumper sticker that makes a political statement can have this affect if the officer doesn't like the statement. It can also increase the chance of vandalism. However, if you are strong enough in your beliefs to make such a bold statement, then you should be strong enough to accept the risks associated with it.

I had GLBT, wiccan, and feminist bumper stickers all over my last car. I never got a ticket while I had those on my car. Usually it was my driving that got me in trouble. I've talked to a lot of people that are gay/lesbian/bisexual that are in the military and on the police force actually, so there may be a chance that a Gay Pride sticker could get ya out of a ticket...
It also depends on where you are. I know of parts of rural Ohio where people get pulled over for being a female driver!

No, I haven't had any experiences that would point to that and I've had my "rolling library" for over 15 years. Actually I've had some officers snicker over a couple of the stickers; but of course I'm a middle-aged lady in an Escort station wagon with a big sunflower painted on the front of it. I look bizzare either way. Blessings.

I wouldn't know, but I'd guess it would. I don't put bumper stickers or window decals on my car. I don't like the way they look. I'd say your best bet is to get a bumper sticker that says, "Support your local law enforcement officers" or something of that sort.

My uncle works at at the sheriffs office here in my small little ole' town in arkansas (oark) We have a lot or racist people on the 'force' they would just as soon turn you in for being gay and take you and fill up the jail while drunk drivers and drug addicts cruise the town....its dumb and i do not agree! i will save the world!!

I do not think so, I think you would get a ticket for anit-poltical stickers, but it does not matter it is all a violation of power to me.

Probably, but that hasn't been my experience so far. I think the sense of unity it brings is worth far more than the ticket it may or may not cost you.

i dont know if it would get me more tickets, but if it would get me pulled over by some fine looking uniformed man that yanked me out of the drivers seat and threw me down on the side of the road and thoroughly frisked me then smacked me around a bit with his billy club then cuffed me and stuck his club in me. i would put one on my truck. but if it gets me tickets than forget it.

no, but a Bush/Cheney sticker should be reason enough for a ticket.
