OK, take it easy, hon. A lot of variables could delay and shorten your cycle. Stress is the big culprit in altering bodily functions; so is diet, climate, etc. etc.

Having said that, you seem more'n somewhat concerned, so I suspect you have reason to be worried. If so, call a doctor or clinic, and make an appointment. Are you concerned about pregnancy or STDs? Does cervical cancer run in your family? What I'm getting at is this: Have you a real reason to suspect something organic might be making you irregular? If so, please check it out. Early detection is key to recovery, OK?

Don't worry, it is normal. It happens time to time. Don't be surprise if sometimes it is more than 7 days. The important thing is that for most of the times you should have it as what is normal for you and your body, But time to time if you are under stress or things like that, it is ok to have a change in your routine. if the change of routine happens too many times to you, then consult a doctor.

Good luck

Hi there !
But "gynaecology" is a branch where nothing or no diagnosis can be made on the history alone !
The fact is that..."it" is dependant on so many factors like :
age
past medical history
present associated illness
any medications you are on..
any other associated symptoms..if at all any..

The best judge would be YOUR gynaecologist.
Do contact him..Best wishes !

well if you just started getting your period a few months or even a year ago...then its perfectly normal...your body will take time to get used to it and the first few periods usually dont come when they should..
other factors could also be stress.if you've suddenly gone on a diet, this could also happen.
so dont worry

It is absolutly normal for you to have that. All periods are different. The older I have gotten the less days I have my period. I would not be worried.
