I need a freeview recorder with hard drive storage and good audio connections to hook up to an amp, but all systems like this seem to cost £225 + . Are there any for £150-180?

I bought an 160 Gig Humax Duovision (twin tuners) for £150 from Dixons about 5 months ago.
It's pretty good.
Also has a USB2 post so you can rip files off the drive :)

The daddy of the market for the last 12 months has been the Humax PVR9200T. It's a twin freeview tuner recorder with a 160Gb hard disk, so you can record one thing and playback another at the same time.

It's da bomb and Currys/Dixons and Comet have it for £184 so it's close to your limit. It's well worth it.

I was lucky enough to get a Tevion from Aldi a few months back, for £100 which is also a twin tuner model with 160Gb, but they seldom have them in.
